The project in

The need arises to deploy a jointly owned telecommunications network in Xàbia and extend it to the Marina Alta region in order to guarantee access to communications for all citizens on equal terms.

The communal fiber optic network project allows the multiple active telecommunications operators in the region to work together using the same network to offer services to potential end users (individuals or companies). This increases competitiveness in the sector and the offering to citizens.

Grup ATTI is open to collaborate with other operators in the area who can join the guifi·net project.

Fiber optic arrives at 700 homes and commercial premises in the Old Town of Xàbia. Streets: Mestre Àngel Ribes, Mare de Déu dels Àngels, Calvari, Mestre Àngel Palència, Sant Sebastià, la Coma, la Pau, Famorca, Fageca, Plaça Marina Alta, Favara, Federico Garcia Lorca and Ronda Nord.

In areas where there is or will be a fiber optic network, three modalities are offered:

Connexió amb mecenatge, aportant 1.500€ de donació a la Fundació guifi·net (see tax benefits) el cost del servei serà de 18€ al mes (IVA inclòs) i la velocitat de la connexió de fins a 1000mb.

Connexió amb micro-mecenatge 150€ com a donació a la Fundació guifi·net (see tax benefits) el cost del servei serà de de 24€ al mes (IVA inclò) i la velocitat de la connexió de fins a 1000mb. El cost del servei s'anirà reduint mica en mica fins als 18€ al mes.

Sense donacions, el cost del servei serà de 36€ al mes (IVA inclòs), 6€ dels quals seran en format donació a la Fundació guifi·net (see tax benefits). Velocitat de la connexió de fins a 1000mb.

Is the guifi·net fiber optic network not yet available?
Following other successful guifi·net experiences that are 100% operational, residents have organized to finance the extension of fiber optic in their area or municipality with a patronage model and conducting a feasibility study of the project.
