ECONOMIC MODEL

At guifi· net we build and develop a model of solidarity and collaborative economy on the Commons, Open, Free and Neutral Network. In this context, the telecommunications infrastructure is a common good and a shared resource, open and available to everyone, on equal terms, on which the different participants can offer their services.

COMPENSATION SYSTEM

The success and sustainability of the maintenance and improvement of the network infrastructure guifi· net is based on a shared, efficient and coordinated management.

The Compensation System applies objective criteria in the recognition of expenses and in the proportionality of the allocation of these to the operators and maintainers participating according to the use of the network infrastructure as a common good.

AGREEMENT FOR THE REALIZATION OF ECONOMIC ACTIVITY ON THE COMMONS NETWORK AND PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPENSATION SYSTEM

Companies, professionals and organizations interested in carrying out economic activity using the guifi· net Commons Network sign a collaboration agreement between participants and join the compensation system.

PATRONAGE COLLABORATION AGREEMENT

Companies collaborate with non-profit entities benefiting fromLaw 49/2002through three types of private patronage contributions:

  • Donations

  • Corporate collaboration agreements

  • Sponsorships

The Foundation studies proposals for corporate collaboration and sponsorships in activities of general interest within the framework of the foundation's objectives and purposes.

The proposal describes the commitment in writing between the company and the Foundation, including in the collaboration agreement: the consent between the company and the Foundation, the amount of the financial aid and the conditions and means through which the collaboration will be disseminated.
