Who are we?
El projecte d'estesa de fibra òptica a través de la Xarxa de Comuns a Xàbia, municipi amb més de 27.000 habitants i format per tres nuclis de poblacions (el casc antic, el Port i l'Arenal), l'està impulsant l'operadora local ATTI Group amb el suport de la Guifi·net Foundation. D'aquesta manera es cobreix la necessitat important del municipi, tenir una xarxa de fibra òptica i que garanteixi l'accés a les comunicacions a tots els ciutadans en igualtat de condicions. L'objectiu, doncs, és que a llarg termini el desplegament de la xarxa sigui una realitat també a la comarca de la Marina Alta.

The company ATTI Group, fundada l'any 1999, operador de Telecomunicacions inscrit en el Registre Nacional d'Operadors de Telecomunicacions, es dedica a desenvolupar treballs en el sector de les telecomunicacions oferint serveis a les petites i mitjanes empreses i a usuaris/es finals ja que considera una necessitat donar aquest suport tecnològic per augmentar la comunicació amb el món i la productivitat del dia a dia.
What services do we offer?
- Services d'Internet access with wifi/wimax technology through the guifi·net deployed in the Marina Alta region.
- With the deployment of the new fiber network in the municipality, we expand our service catalog, thus offeringultra-fast Internet access through the optical fiber network of the common guifi·net.
- VOIP telephony services, telephone exchanges, mobile telephony, security alarms and telecommunications system installations.
Trajectory of the ATTI Group:
ATTI Group joined the guifi·net project in 2011 by installing the first wireless node in Xàbia. From that moment on, the guifi·net network grew throughout the territory, incorporating new connection points in both the municipality of Xàbia and neighboring towns such as Poble Nou de Benitatxell, Pedreguer, Alcalalí, Xaló, Parcent, Jesús Dóbare, Atzúbia/Forna, Benigembla, and Murla.

Guifi·net Foundation
ATTI Group has the support of the Guifi·net Foundation, a non-profit entity that, since 2008, promotes, drives and coordinates the guifi·net project. A project that started in 2004 in the region of Osona and aims to provide Internet access throughout the territory, especially in rural areas, areas where there is still no coverage or where the major operators in the telecommunications sector have no intention of reaching or, if they do, charge an unaffordable price for citizens. How do we get there? Through the Open, Free and Neutral Joint Network.
From the Guifi·net Foundation, we establish our own mechanisms to ensure a system of governance, participation, regulation, and sanction for all the participants involved in the project, which serve to ensure the principles of the network.
