La xarxa surt dels domicilis per connectar-se als ramals que desemboquen a dues troncals que passen per la Vall de sud a nord. Totes dues troncals s'uneixen a la capçalera que està connectada actualment a la xarxa tronacl de NASERTIC i, d'allà per transport majorista s'arriba al punt neutre d'internet CATNIX situat a Barcelona, que a través de cable submari, ens connecta a Internet amb el món.

Tots els operadors disposen d'un compromís de nivells de serveis (SLA) que descriuen tant les característiques de la connexió com un compromís de temps de resposta davant d'una incidència segons el servei contractat, i d'atenció en horaris i dies laborables o estesos també a altres horaris o festius. La Fundació procura fer un seguiment del compliment d'aquests compromisos per garantir la qualitat i resiliència de la xarxa.

Sí. Mai s'obliga a escollir un operador concret. REFOVE tampoc exigeix permanències a ningú. És l'usuari que lliurement es vincula amb l'operador que li mereix més confiança a través d'un contracte i una oferta específica.
